Let’s find out more about the Crusaders squad as we go behind-the-scenes

You can choose three of your team-mates to go on a road trip with – who jumps in the car?
Mike Jones first of all. He has always got a story or conspiracy theory to tell which would kill some time! Conor Lynch can come. He can provide some good Turkish food. Also Matt Jones - you can always rely on him to find a good place to go, obviously only a bar or club in the off season!

….but who would you lock out of the car!
Ali Thorpe, his directional sense is awful. He even blames his lateness on his Grandad insisting on using his printed out directions!

So which player would you not let touch your car stereo?
Zidan Akers is on speaker duties in the changing rooms so I haven't heard some of the boys tunes so going by the initiations i would have to go with the young boys Elliot King and Tommy Rees - awful is an understatement so no doubt their playlists wont be up to scratch!

Which player is already running a bit late?
Liam Ferdinand, loves a fine that boy. There always seems to be an accident on the route he goes!

Who is most likely to become a manager when their playing days are over?
We're a young group but there's some wise heads in there. However i will have to go with Beano (James Constable) because of his experience in the game, great character and personality.

Who’s the dressing room joker?
It's a new group and some of the boys are still finding their feet, Kofi Halliday and George Smith like giving out some abuse but not so good at taking it. This one is definitely up for the taking though!

Which team-mate spends the longest in front of the mirror after games?
There's two or three and I wont lie I’m probably one of them but my pick would have to be Marcus Johnson-Schuster, he's always perfecting the little curls on the top of his head!

So which player is the teacher’s pet?
I am going to have to say Dan Bailey, he even took annual leave from his job to help build the new stand at the ground!

Who would you say is your best mate at the club?
I wouldn't want to let any of them down by picking! But no to be honest they are all good lads and there isn't one i don't get on with.

Best trainer in the squad?
Joe Tomlinson. Being released from the pro game last year is a tough thing to take but all he does is gets his head down, listens, works hard and is determined to get back where he wants to be.

….but who is the first off the training ground on Tuesday and Thursday nights?
Josiah Dunston or maybe known to some as J-Drizzle as the squad found out recently. Always the first back in the changing room after training or on a match day. Must need that extra time to think of his next song lyrics!

Who’s got the most annoying habit?
That’s a tough one. I can't actually pick one but my pet hate is when people don't reply in the group whatsapp when your trying to organise something. They know who they are!
