"Fastest Hattrick by a substitute in the FA Cup" Stefan Brown

You started off at @ReadingFC and were released at the age of 12, can you remember how it felt to not make it through?

To be honest at the time I was quite happy as I wasn't enjoying it (too much pressure too young)

You started your career with @ReadingTownFC before joining @Thatcham_TownFC, you have really worked your way up the leagues?

Yeah I started locally and have worked hard to move up the leagues, I've been lucky to have played for some good clubs

You could say that your first big move was @AFCTotton you hit the record books in your second season, can you tell us why?

Yeah I loved my time with @AFCTotton The highlight of course was the hattrick in the FA Cup that put me in the record books

Fastest ever hattrick by a sub in the @BudweiserUK FA Cup also won you player of the 1st round proper beating Jamie Vardy

I didn't realise I'd beaten Jamie Vardy but yeah that has to be one of if not the best day of my life

It's an incredible achievement and at such a young age, how did you fair in the second round?

Unfortunately we got beat by Bristol rovers 6-1 in the second round but I still think that was an unfair score line

How disappointing is it that Hungerford have had poor cup runs this season?

Extremely disappointed tbh! we've over achieved in the league for a number of years now yet we've done poorly in the FA cup

Fingers crossed for a better run next season. You played with @theowalcott at Newbury Schools, was it obvious he would go on?

no it wasn't obvious at the time, but since then what he's done is well documented so fair play to him

You had already played at this level with both @BASINGSTOKE_FC & @MUFCYorkRoad did you think Hungerford could compete?

Yes I honestly did, I knew that standard wasn't much different to what we had in the changing room already so was confident

You are taking a lot of people by surprise however, is doing a Leicester a possibility?

I think the league title is a little out of our reach at this stage but a play off place is well within our grasps and we will be doing everything in our power to make that a reality

What club has seen your best return of goals?

The first time I was here I scored 28, that was my best goal return for a season. Closely followed by 25 with totton

Who is the best player you have played with?

That's a good question, I've played with some good players but if I'm honest @Davies436 was superb when we were Totton

And who is the best player you have played against?

Easy, Harry Arter of Bournemouth, Couldn't get near the guy!

Who in your opinion is the best player at @HungerfordTown ?

I give a lot of stick to @Clarky_90 (James Clark) and @Rhys_Tyler but they are top players although this season it's @Willo10_ (Luke Williams)

Who do you think has improved the most as a player for Hungerford?

@Clarky_90 (James Clark) has improved the most, when I joined the club he was in and out of the team now he's a permanent fixture

What department on the pitch is our strongest, Defence, midfield or attack?

Obviously our attack

Bobby Wilkinson likes to change his attacking options regularly, is this frustrating as a player?

Not really, he'll only change you if your not performing. So it's simple, perform and you'll play

What would you say is your best attribute?

I'd prob say either my work rate or first touch, but I'm not that bad at putting the ball in the net lol

What would you improve about your game?

To be honest this is something I get told by my friends and family a lot and that is that I should be more selfish as a striker

What would you improve at Hungerford Town?

The bloody showers, you can only barely get wet no matter where you stand lol

We have four of our toughest games coming up, how optimistic are you about taking points off the big boys?

The way we're playing at the moment I'm confident we will pick up points against anyone.Just a shame I won't be able to help

On your injury (hamstring) how long do you think you'll be out for?

It's hard to say right now. I'm seeing @staceywood3 (Physio) tomorrow so should have a better idea after that

The scene is set, Play Off Final, 1-1 with @MaidenheadUtd 95th minute, you win a penalty. What happens next?

I step up and we go up to the national league prem

Hope to see you back soon mate, thanks for your time tonight, all the best for the rest of the season!
