Pook (28) was born in Swindon and played for Swindon Towns' Youth team before making his debut for the first team in October 2003. He made 109 apperances in the six seasons at Swindon scoring just 3 goals. He has since had spells at Cheltenham Town, Forest Green, Maidenhead United and Oxford City. Described as an intelligent midfielder he will no doubt strengthen our squad. Wilkinson is extremely pleased to have captured Pooks signature believing it shows Hungerfords intent to push for promotion to the Skrill Conference and players from that division now view Hungerford Town as serious promotion contenders.
