Rotary Club of Thatcham presents a spectacular fireworks display.

Venue - Turnpike Road (opposite the West Berkshire Community Hospital).

Gates open at 6pm with a special firework display for children blasting off around 7pm.

Newbury Sound's Chris Wright will be leading the countdown to the main display which will take place around 7.30pm followed by the bonfire at 8.15pm.

Tickets are available in advance from Family Bookshop in Thatcham Broadway, Regency Park Hotel, Leisure Centre, Wyevale Garden Centre Thatcham, Subway Sandwich Centre in Newbury and Newbury Building Society in Thatcham.

Ticket prices - Adults £4 in advance, £5 at the gate, Children £2 in advance, £3 at the gate, Family tickets £12 in advance (2adults, 3children)

Saturday 7th November

The Lions Club of Newbury present West Berkshire's greatest pyrotechnic display also on the 7th November. The theme this year is "War of the Worlds".

Venue - Newbury Racecourse

Gates open at 5.30pm with the fireworks set off at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available on the gate and, in advance from Tesco in Newbury, the Corn Exchange or the Newbury and Thatcham branches of Newbury Building Society.

Tickets bought in advance are £4 for adults, £3 for those 5 to 16 years old and just £11 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) and are available from Tesco Superstore in Newbury, Newbury and Thatcham branches of Newbury Building Society and The Corn Exchange. On the night, entrance is £5 for everyone over the age of five.
