Hungerford Town is delighted to announce the arrival of new volunteers to our behind the scenes team.

Several are to join the committee to give us new blood and ideas.

Firstly its a welcome back to the committee to Alan O’ Donahue who has Kindly put himself forward to take the vacant vice chairman role. Alan has worked on the committee previously and is a long time respected supporter and will strengthen the committee.

John Loader another member of the Tuesday club has volunteered to replace Tim Cundy as treasurer at the end of our financial year in readiness for the new season.

Nigel Brock an ex Vice Chairman of Thatcham Town will be joining us to look after our football in the community drive and will arrange player visits to schools and liaise with our marketing team. Nigel is a business owner with a passion for non league football and is a Man City fan. He will also assist us in securing sponsorship and much needed donations.

Sam Cleere has joined our marketing and social media team with vast experience in this field. He was also commentator for Kennet radio for the famous Thatcham Wembley victory. Our young team will benefit from his knowledge and structure.

Matt Richbell is also joining the marketing team and will take over the compilation of programme content, which is very time consuming. We will still be using Footieprint, who did a great job last season. Matt has been a volunteer at Winchester city previously.

Mike Carter is replacing Ken Holmes as match day secretary and until recently was the secretary at Winchester. He will assist John Smyth our secretary.

James Croach is joining Dannys backroom team as opposition analyst and will compile player reports from our own playertek data. This will assist Danny and his coaches and is something that may just give us the edge.

Just today two loyal fans have volunteered, so a big thank you to Kevin Gregory and Pete Cunningham who will assist me in our quest to secure funding for a 4G pitch. They also have skills that could help our marketing team and help with sourcing sponsorship and donations.

As Chairman ( caretaker ) of this wonderful club I must thank everyone who volunteers to help run this special club. A big thank you to Danny Robinson, who has played a key part in recruiting some new blood to the club.

Always room for more.

Welcome to you all and a massive thank you.
