HISTORY
Taunton Town Football Club was founded in December 1947 by a group of local businessmen. Their first friendly match took place during Easter 1948, and in the early years they played at several grounds around Taunton. The late 1950s and early 1960s were financially difficult, with the club relying heavily on a committed Supporters Club to stay afloat. A turning point came in the 1968–69 season, when manager Doug Hillard guided Taunton Town to their first Western League championship, marking the beginning of a more competitive era

LAST SEASON
It was a 2-1 defeat at Taunton for the Crusaders in late 2024. Hungerford's goal was scored by Anthony Dwyer remember him!
