
HISTORY
Sholing FC, nicknamed "The Boatmen," has roots dating back to 1884 and has evolved through several identities before becoming the club we know today.- Founded as Woolston Works in 1884. After World War I, the club re-formed as Thornycrofts (Woolston). Re-established in 1960 as Vosper Thornycroft FC, they climbed through local leagues. - In 2010, the club was renamed Sholing FC. Their golden season came in 2013–14, winning both the FA Vase and the Wessex League Premier Division
LAST SEASON
It was the game that ended our unbeaten start to 2025 but it was full of controversial moments including penalties and red cards, Hungerford ending with 9 men on the pitch and one of them carrying an injury.
FORM
Sholing are unbeaten in the last three games including a recent 2-2 draw with Gosport Borough.
DANGER MAN
Reece Wylie is a player that seems to get under the skin on Hungerford fans he played around a dozen times for Hungerford in the NLS. Its Dan Mason though who is putting the ball into the net for the boatmen.

They have a brand new plastic pitch, at the Mortgage Decisions Stadium, hooray! A new 400 capacity stand was opened for the start of the 2024–25 season by Levi Colwill and Matthew Le Tissier.

Matthew Le Tissier is often seen supporting Sholing the Saints legend is known for his outspoken views on football and current events, sometimes stirring controversy.
