And the Robins 3-1 win saw them open up a nine-point lead at the top of the table.
Bideford were always in control after going 2-0 up inside the opening 15 minutes at the Sports Ground.
Matt Hockley scored the first from the penalty spot following a foul by Paul Roast on Matt Andrew in the 10th minute.
And Andrew added the second himself 5 minutes later when a big deflection off Roast left Magpies keeper Jason Harvell with no chance.
The visitors responded with a penalty of their own after 25 minutes - Jack Furzer handling a shot from Tom Jeffes - George Webb converting from the spot.
But Bideford restored the two-goal cushion 10 minutes before half-time through Ian Sampson.
A scrappy second half failed to reproduce any further goals and the Robins comfortably held out to stretch their unbeaten run to fourteen games.
