Hungerford Town v Tonbridge Angels
When: 9th November 2019
Where: Bulpit Lane, RG17 0AY
K.O 3PM
Hungerford shocked us all last Saturday. A deserved three-nil win over Braintree pulled them out the relegation zone. It was a hard working display and more of the same will need to come against Tonbridge. The league's basement side have shown lots of fight and character since starting their journey in the National League South. One area of concern them for is they haven't won an away game this season but making the trip to a side with only one home win all season won't faze them.
Form guide- Tonbridge drew a 4-4 thriller with Oxford City last weekend ending a two game losing streak. Those two defeats beforehand came against Wealdstone and Chelmsford City. Hungerford are in better form, winning two of their last three games. They beat Braintree last weekend and Concord two weeks earlier. Defeat to Hampton came in-between.
Star man- Joe Turner hit a brace from midfield against Oxford last Saturday to earn Tonbridge a point. At the same time fellow midfielder Cameron McGilp also hit two goals but for Hungerford at Braintree. The on-loan Swindon player is starting to show his quality in the middle of the park.
Head to head- These sides haven't met before.
