Ian Herring and Kevin Watson give there thoughts after Tuesday nights win over Slough Town.

Ian Herring said he was "delighted" at Hungerford getting there first free points of the season. James Constable scored the only goal as the Crusaders beat Slough Town on Tuesday night in there second National league south game of the season.
Herring added the game was against a "very tough Slough Town side" and he "asked for a bit of character after Saturday", when they lost four-one to Hemel Hempstead Town.
On the Hemel game he said "We can't get too carried away after winning the same as getting too down after a defeat. The players knew Saturday wasn't acceptable".
With only two full days to dust down for there game against Slough Herring admitted "we had no time to work on anything with last night (Tuesday) coming so soon after Saturday. We changed personal slightly and adapted our shape with a view to how to get three points from Slough".
Assistant manager Kevin Watson added "It's always disappointing to lose your first game and especially in the manner we did on Saturday. The goals we conceded were all preventable from our point of view. So to get the reaction we got from the boys on Tuesday was very pleasing. Especially the clean sheet too. To get your first win and three points early is very important in my eyes as it gives you something to build on quickly. The longer you go without a win the edgier you become. The only thing we needed from Saturdays game was a reaction and that's what we got. When you get beat heavily like that you sometimes have to change a couple of things to freshen it up. That's what we done and the end result was obviously very pleasing. Players will be disappointed to be left out but that's football and all the boys we have know that. They will be desperate to get there shirts back and the competition we now have for places is very good".
On if he was looking to make changes to his squad the manager replied "I feel the squad is ahead of where we were last year. There is no need to change for changes sake and all these lads have proved to me they deserve a sustained opportunity. I have full belief with every one of us". However Watson said " We are happy with the squad yes but if good players become available and it's within our means to get them and we feel at the time it will benefit the club then of course you look to strengthen what you already have".
Asked to pick a man of the match Herring said "he couldn't pick a single man of the match" and "from Sid and Budgie our kit men to the chairman's wife Nicky cooking in the tea bar, what happened last night reflects our whole club. We're in it together and I'm privileged to manage this club". Watson thought it was "very difficult to name a man of the match" but did say " Kofi Halliday had a very good debut for us as did Josiah Dunstan. It's good that the new boys have settled in quickly and I'm sure that'll benefit everyone".
