ACADEMY TRIAL DATES FOR 2016

The Hungerford Town Football academy delivered in partnership with the 'Outstanding' Park House School (Ofsted 2012) in Newbury is a programme of study that combines flexible academic options alongside professional coaching for aspiring footballers. The programme maximises the opportunity for students to enhance and develop potential pathways within football whilst securing academic and coaching qualifications.

The Academy provides players with the opportunity to:

• Receive coaching for 8-10 hours per week from UEFA Licensed Coaches which include Academy Manager Gary Clifford, First Team Manager Bobby Wilkinson and ex-Reading FC player Mikele Leigertwood.
• Compete in the Football Conference Youth Alliance, FA Youth Cup & Tactic League.
• Receive a personalised strength and conditioning programme that is completed in the state of the art Wellness Centre.
• Achieve the FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

• Talented footballers who exhibit high levels of technical ability, tactical understanding, athleticism and determination to work hard to improve every aspect of their game.
• Students who have experienced football at a high level e.g. Professional Academy or County Representation although every trialist will be considered.
• Students who possess the desire and ambition to play at a higher level e.g. Professional, Semi-Professional, University Level (UK & USA).

TRIAL DATES & PROCESS

Tue 16th Feb: 10am to 12pm
Thu 31st Mar: 10am to 12pm
Wed 6th Apr: 10am to 12pm
Wed 1st Jun: 10am to 12pm

All trials will take place at Park House School, Andover Road, Newbury, RG14 6NQ. Interested players are requested to email Gary Clifford using htfcacademy@hotmail.com with the following information:
