Hungerford were unchanged from the 2-0 FA Trophy victory over Truro City the previous weekend but Baboucarr Jarra made a return to the squad after signing back for another spell at the club in the week.
The first half was nothing to write home about the only notable moment of the half was when Conor McDonagh found the net from a Joe Shepherd cross but was marginally offside. It was a tight call but probably the correct one. Hungerford also lost skipper Rhys Tyler, replaced by Jarra to an injury just before the break in a half strewn with errors from both sides.
Hungerford started the second half brightly and Elis Watts forced a good save from Tyler Tobin early on. It took though until the 74th minute for Hungerford to open the scoring. A free kick swung in by Matt Berry-Hargreaves found his fellow defender Jack Wright free at the far post to power a volley home. Eight minutes later the home side doubled their lead when Great Evans broke clear and put a great ball across to put Sam de St Croix through. De St Croix then held the ball in the box to put a very composed finish past Tobin
There was time for Harrow’s Pap Jawara to score a deflected consolation goal with the final kick of the game but the match was already won
