We continued our pre-season programme with defeat by the odd goal on a dull and damp evening at Alfredian Park , again ringing the changes in the players involved.
We were soon a goal down when Craig Hill could only parry away a low shot after our defence had been outmanoeuvered and Sam Collier was there to slot the ball home, but after a near miss, Stefan Brown headed a fine equalizer. Only for a rash tackle by James Rusby to concede a penalty, which was converted by Ben Whitehead.
Our defence was again opened up after 70 minutes for Adam Bruce to increase the lead after 70 minutes. Mark Draycott made it 3-2 5 minutes later, but despite plenty of possession late on, we were unable to salvage anything from the game.
