Hungerford Town 1, Oxford City 4

We again took on a National League (Conference) side at Faraday Road, continuing the rotation of players as we build up to the league season, now only a month away. Once again our opponents had the edge and although a Stefan Brown penalty levelled the scores after an early header had given the City the lead, the visitors soon came back to make it 3-1 at the interval and netted a gift goal near the end to complete the scoring.
We visit Wantage on Tuesday and Fleet Town on Saturday and hope that the surface at Bulpit Lane will be ready for the visit of a Reading X1 on Tuesday July 21st. KO 7.45 pm.
