We welcomed another Conference side on a sweltering evening in an entertaining match which finished goalless. There was plenty of neat football but few goal-scoring chances, although there was an appeal for a penalty when James Clarke appeared to be fouled in the area but the visitors shot wide with a good chance before the interval. Both sides made numerous changes in an evenly matched second half but again the goalkeepers were seldom troubled, although the tricky Josh Parsons looked our most likely scorer.
In the final minute Harry Goodger was given a straight red for a foul on a Havant defender, but this was the last action of the game, although the Havant players reacted angrily to the foul before eventually being ushered away to the dressing room, a sad end to an otherwise interesting game which gave big squads a useful run-out.
