We visit the Seagulls!

After a weeks break The Crusaders are back to action this week and travel to Weston-Super-Mare in the search of three points.

The Seagulls have found themselves a bit up and down this season, but have pulled of some shock results along the way, including 4 wins from 4 in November including a 1-0 away victory over Braintree Town and a 5-1 thrashing over Eastbourne Borough, the same result that saw them triumph over former Hungerford Manager, Wilkinson's Wealdstone in September. Those 4 wins gave Marc McGregor Vanarama Manager of the Month for November. December had started slowly for The Seagulls however, losing at home to Hampton & Richmond and then Poole Town picked up their first league win since October registering a 3-1 win.

The Seagulls are through to the 2nd round of the FA Trophy and will host Workington after beating Chesham 2-0 last night (Tuesday).

The Seagulls have a young side and one of their most influential players Dale Grubb has recently agreed a move to Forest Green Rovers on the 1st January after a non-disclosed fee had been agreed between the two clubs.

Hungerford Town will be coming into this off the back of 4 points off the top two sides in the division following a 1-1 draw at Chelmsford and 1-0 victory over Dartford. Goals had been few and far between until the return of Tom Meechan to the team after his successful loan period at St Neots Town. He scored to win a point at Chelmsford and then won the penalty that Soares converted for the 3 points vs Dartford.

Boardman & Herring have been doing their homework on Weston, and know that they are a strong side and once again will be another tough tie.

Hungerford were victorious in their first game at Bulpit Lane in August winning 2-0 under the lights.
