John Finnigan linked with Cleeve switch

FORMER Kidderminster Harriers caretaker boss John Finnigan could sign for Bishops Cleeve.

Finnigan is training with Paul Collicutt’s men after cutting short his spell as player/coach with Kidderminster Harriers earlier in the season.

Collicutt admits that nothing apart from the odd training session has been spoken about at this stage, he would jump at the chance to sign the Tewkesbury-based 34-year-old, thisisgloucestershire.co.uk is reporting.

“Finners spoke to big Jules about popping along to training and he’s come to our last session,” said Collicutt.

“He’s had a lot of injuries and he’s got a new job at Winchcombe School but wants to ease himself back into playing.

“He already knows a lot of my lads through being around the scene for a few years and it will be good to have him around.

“We’ve not spoken about taking it further as yet but if the opportunity arose we would obviously jump at the chance.”
