Today marks the 30 year anniversary of the Hungerford Massacre where 16 people lost their lives and 15 people injured

The Massacre rocked the quiet Town of Hungerford 30 years ago today and will always be remembered as one of the deadliest mass shootings in the UK.

Bobby Wilkinson has said "Today is a sad day for all people in our Town and myself, the coaching staff and the players will come together to give our support to the families who were affected." Wilkinson added "We are a close knit community and events such as this one hold some awful memories, today my team will hold a minutes silence in the privacy of our dressing room and the players will wear black arm bands during todays game at Welling Utd"

"On behalf of myself and my family, I want to give my condolences to those families who lost their loved ones, and to everyone else in Hungerford who I know will remember this day for the rest of their lives. Today we come together as one"

Michael Ryan used a semi automatic rife, an M1 Carbrine and a Beretta pistol during his attack, killing 16 people and injuring 15 others before turning the gun on himself in a class room of the John O'Gaunt secondary school.

On behalf of everyone at Hungerford Town FC, we also give our condolences to the families that lost their loved ones during the attack. #TogetherweareHungerford
