The most important news is that our brave goalkeeper, Jokull Andresson, badly injured in the 70th minute of Saturday's game, has been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home with his family. Jokull was knocked unconscious after an accidental clash with a Wantage player and suffered a laceration to his jaw and damage to his teeth. The referee made the decision to abandon the game after it took over 30 minutes to treat Jokull and stabilise him before being transferred to hospital by ambulance. Our very best wishes are with Jokull for a speedy recovery.

The Football Association took account of reports from the referee and both clubs before determining that the game will be replayed in its entirety at Hungerford on Tuesday 25th September as neither club were at fault for the abandonment.
