Catch Up With Jokull Andresson

After 2 unfortunate head injuries, Jokull Andresson has sadly spent much of this season on the sidelines. Despite the setbacks, the promising young keeper on loan from Reading, is still positive about the future and his time with the Crusaders:

Q - Long time no speak! How have you been doing? Everything on course with rehab?

JA - I’m doing really well thank you, It is a bit different because it is the brain so you can’t really do any rehab, so your most just resting the first few weeks. I’ve been back training for like 2 and a half weeks and it’s going excellent. It is 'no-contact' but should be going full in next week...And hopefully I am back soon in that Hungerford shirt which I love so much!

Q - Have you been able to watch the team at all while you've been out? How do you think the lads are doing?

JA - I was able to watch the team more on the first concussion but not as much on the second one. I think we are a team that has got class players and some players that have more experience in the game and they can pass that knowledge to the youngsters as we are a young team.I only think we need to work a bit more on defending set pieces because that is the area that we are conceding the most goals, but other than that it is a very good team.

Q - The supporters have been really keen to know you're doing well, do you have a message for them?

JA- I just want to thank all the supporters at Hungerford. They were so nice and so helpful. It was a very weird situation but they were so helpful and made me feel a lot more confident about coming back. I can't wait to be back out there and see them all again!
