Cal's comeback not until the new year

After a promising start to his career with The Crusaders last season (including one of the goals of the season last year - (http://www.hungerfordtown.com/videos/august-goal-of-the-month-115204.html), Callum Willmoth's momentum was stopped by an ACL injury that would require season ending surgery. Now deep into his rehab, Cal checks in with the media team to give us an update on his progress

HTFC - Although you're a frequent face around the club, a lot of the supporters are interested to know how your rehab has been going?

CW - Rehab was going very well for me . My leg was getting stronger and stronger during my training in pre-season rebuilding my strength in my left leg after my ACL operation

I've had a minor setback after my 6 month check up with the specialist . After my sessions my knee would swell up, and this concerned the specialist so they advised I went back in for some keyhole surgery to see what the problem was . The outcome being I had a bit of cartilage repair which all went well and shouldn’t hinder my timescale on coming back, which I’m hoping will be in the new year, January/February time.

HTFC - We've seen you at a few of the games this season, what are your thoughts on the team?

CW - I have been watching the boys results every week! I know everyone at the club is working their socks off week in week out to get results on the pitch . Sometimes when your at the bottom end of the table you don’t always get the rub of the green, but I know the boys, the gaffa, and coachin staff will continue to work hard to keep getting results on the pitch we need.

HTFC - You're sort of a 'fan favorite' round here, and your return gets brought up frequently by the supporters, what message do you have for them?

CW - my message to the fans is I am working my [expletive] off to get back on the pitch ASAP in a better shape than before! Keep sticking with the boys like they always have done on the pitch . And fingers crossed they’ll see me out there back in a Hungerford shirt this season!

Q - Thanks Cal!
