Joint Player Manager Jon Boardman will undergo Surgery this Thursday for a prolonged groin injury.
Boardman who had groin issues whilst at Woking in 2009 was referred to Dr Jerry Gilmore who performed surgery of which Boardman fully recovered shortly after.
Unfortunately Boardman feared the worse recently when he pulled his groin and with another referral to Dr Gilmore, it has been confirmed that he will undergo the same surgery as before but on the opposite side.
Boardman will hope to be back to full fitness in 8 weeks and has indicated his desire to travel to Chelmsford on Saturday to help lead the team.
