The Robins visit the Bulpit

Tomorrow evening (Tuesday) Berks & Bucks Senior cup runners up Hungerford will host high flying Hellenic Premier Bracknell Town in the 2nd Round with the victors hosting Slough Town in the next round.

Last seasons Berks & Bucks cup final was delayed until pre-season after Maidenhead Utd and Hungerford Town battled to the last weeks of the National League South campaign with Maidenhead clinching the title and gaining promotion whilst Hungerford just missed out on a play off place finishing 6th in their first ever National League South campaign. Maidenhead United going on to win 1-0 in a game the Crusaders controlled throughout.

After receiving a bye in the first round we will now host Bracknell Town on Tuesday evening under the lights at Bulpit Lane.

The Robins are having a great season to date, sitting in 2nd place in the Hellenic Premier, of which, Hungerford won back in 2009 spurring Hungerford's historic rise throughout the leagues. The Robins come to Bulpit Lane, not only in good league form but off the back of an 8-0 demolition job over Cricklewood WFC in the FA Vase on Saturday, with Talk Sports Tony Incenzo awarding them Non-League team of the week.

The Crusaders narrowly beat The Robins in pre-season 2-1 and Manager's Herring & Boardman will be expecting a tough game.

It is likely that Hungerford will not play a full strength side, but it is still an important competition for the Crusaders who would love to bring home the Trophy, something they haven't done since 1982.

Kick Off is at 7:45pm and we look forward to welcoming Bracknell Town and their fellow supporters to the club.

We will be broadcasting live commentary of the game from 7:30pm via the IOS and Android app "Pundit" and the fixture can be found under the BBFC tab. Alternatively listen in using this link http://punditsports.com:81/play/broadcast/MattRobinson-MTEzNA
